DxTech has assembled a distinguished panel of renowned experts and accomplished clinicians to serve on the company's Clinical Advisory Board. The board  will provide valuable expertise and guidance in the areas of technology, clinical utility, healthcare systems, instrumentation and market development.

Board Chair

Joseph Keffer, MD. Clinical Pathologist, retired.  Dr. Keffer served as the Medical Director of Nichols Institute Reference Laboratory, San Juan Capistrano, California, Professor and Chief Clinical Pathologist at the University of Texas Southwestern Parkland Hospital in Dallas and Medical director for Spectral Diagnostics, a point of care company focused on cardiac and infectious disease, Toronto Canada.  He is the past President of the American Society of Clinical Pathologist and recipient of the Outstanding Clinical Pathologist award from ASCP. The ASCP is the governing board for all certifications in the field of clinical laboratory science.

Paul Ladenson, MD.  Academic Clinical Subspecialist. Director of the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism and Professor of Medicine, Pathology, Oncology, and Radiation at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.  Dr. Ladenson currently serves as the Editor-In-Chief of the Journal of Clinical Endocrinology and Metabolism, and is the past president of the American Thyroid Association. He is also actively involved in endocrine patient care and teaching of medical students, residents, fellows and practicing physicians.

Robert F. Dons, MD. PhD. Clinical Endocrinologist, Endocrinology Nuclear Medicine Associates, San Antonio, Texas. Dr. Dons is in practice with 4 fellow endocrinologists. His special interests is laboratory testing for endocrine disorders and is a co-author of  The Endocrine and Metabolic Testing Manual, soon to be published in its 4th edition.

James Etzkorn, MD. Clinical Endocrinologist, Associate Clinical Professor of Internal Medicine, Saint Louis University School of Medicine.  Dr. Etzkorn actively sees patients in addition to his academic standing and specializes in diseases of the thyroid and pituitary.

Joseph C. Hildner, MD.  Founder and Medical Director of “The Family Doctors of Belleview” located in North-Central Florida. The Practice includes 7 physicians and 4 fulltime P.A.’s specializing in treatment of all Primary Care needs of whole families over life’s continuum.

Larry Smith, MD. Sunbury Medical Association, Bangor Maine.  Founder and co-owner of the Sunbury Medical Association , a thirty two member provider group delivering primary care, occupational medicine, laboratory, radiology and physical therapy services in seven sites located throughout South East Maine.

Laboratory Professionals

Arthur Rabson, MD. Director of Clinical Chemistry and Immunology laboratories and Professor of Pathology at Tufts Medical Center, Boston, MA.  Dr. Rabson’s major interest is in quality management and proficiency testing in routine diagnostic clinical laboratories.

Frank H. Wians, Jr. Ph.D. Professor of Pathology, Director of Clinical Chemistry, Director, Clinical Chemistry Fellowship Program, and Associate Director of the Division of Clinical Pathology in the Department of Pathology at The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas.  Dr. Wians is currently the Editor-in-Chief of LABMEDICINE  and author/co-author of over 100 peer-reviewed scientific publications.  His research interests are multi-faceted and include evaluation of the analytical and clinical performance characteristics of laboratory test methods.

Jody Balko, MMSc, MT(ASCP)SC. Clinical Research Coordinator, Clinical Center for Liver Disease. UT Southwestern Medical Center, Dallas, TX.  Ms. Balko is an active Medical Technologist utilizing state of the art instrumentation from multiple diagnostic companies and provides guidance for competitive bench marking.
