Steve Lufkin
Chief Executive Officer

Steve Lufkin, CEO of DxTech, sets the strategic direction and is responsible for all aspects of DxTech’s business, related joint ventures, acquisitions, shareholder relations and technology partnerships. Steve’s previous senior management roles include Vice President of Technology and Strategic Business Development at the Midwest Research Institute (MRI) and President of MRI Ventures (MRIV) a for-profit wholly owned subsidiary of MRI that commercializes technologies developed either within MRI or by outside organizations and individuals.

Before joining MRI, Steve held a series of positions at Hoechst Marion Roussel (HMR) from 1991-2000. He worked at the Kansas City North American headquarters of HMR, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies. His roles included providing strategic direction for new product introductions representing nearly US $1.5 billion in future sales. As a member of HMR’s global positioning team, he led the first alliance of its kind between two pharmaceutical companies - HMR and Procter & Gamble - to deliver a consistent and executable global position.

Steve has an MBA from the Whittemore School of Business and Economics at the University of New Hampshire and a BS in Health Education from the University of Maine.

Roger Morris, Ph.D.
Chief Scientist

Dr. Roger Morris is Chief Scientific Officer for DxTech and provides over all guidance for technology development, intellectual property and scientific communications strategies. He also represents the company to the scientific and academic communities through publications, abstracts and clinical advisory groups. He has twenty years management and technical experience in developing clinical diagnostic systems with Baxter Healthcare Corporation, bioMerieux and most recently XL TechGroup. During this time he has developed and launched a number of successful automated diagnostic system products.

Roger received his B.Sc. and PhD in biochemistry from the University of Salford, UK and has published over 20 scientific articles and received 14 patents.

Andy Gover
Vice President, Operations, U.K.

Andy Gover, VP Operations, UK, is responsible for the DxTech biosensor R&D and manufacturing facility in Cambridge, United Kingdom.

With 25 years experience in the in vitro diagnostics industry, Andy brings extensive knowledge of the development and manufacture of diagnostic reagents in highly regulated environments. Andy’s previous senior management role was at Diagnostic Products Corporation’s (DPC) European manufacturing facility where he was responsible for Quality Control, Global Technical Services, Raw Material Supply and Product Support and Development. Before joining DPC, Andy held a series of positions at Ortho Clinical Diagnostics. His management roles included Technical Support, Operations, Quality Control and R&D. Additionally, he was responsible for the implementation of the Johnson & Johnson Six Sigma and Lean manufacturing program.

Andy is a graduate of the Institute of Biology in London, United Kingdom and is certified as a Six Sigma black belt and an ISO 9001 Quality Assurance lead auditor.

Andy Pease
Vice President, Finance and Administration

Andy Pease, VP Finance & Administration, is responsible for all financial management functions, Human Resources, legal administration & compliance and global infrastructure development. In addition, Andy will lead business development activities in the global veterinary market.

Prior to joining DxTech, Andy’s senior management roles included Executive Vice President of Business Development for the Protein Group, a partnership focused on acquisitions and management of large regional dairies and incubating disruptive technologies in the growing market of nutraceutical products in the global dairy market.

In addition, Andy was employed by IDEXX Laboratories, Inc., a world leader in innovative products and services for veterinary, food and water applications. Over Andy’s 16-year tenure at IDEXX, he held the positions of Divisional Vice President of the Veterinary Practice Management software group and Director of Global Business Systems. In these roles, Andy had leadership responsibility for all strategic planning, acquisitions, and management for the growing Veterinary Practice Management software business. His leadership responsibility included the acquisition and integration of two companies who were the US leaders in the Veterinary Practice Management software market. Andy also has extensive experience in establishing and integrating business locations around the world, including The Netherlands, Germany, Italy, Spain, France, Japan, Australia and Brazil.

Andy earned his Business degree from the University of Maine and is a Member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA).
