The panel bender is equipped with intelligent collision detection. Before each bending operation, the system automatically checks for potential collision risks between the tooling, workpiece, and machine parts. If interference is detected, the machine stops immediately and alerts the operator to prevent damage.
Tool life depends on the material type and operating conditions. The panel bender uses high-quality tools made from heat-treated 42CrMo steel. Under normal production conditions, they can last up to 10 years. Regular cleaning and proper maintenance can further extend tool life and maintain bending quality.
Compared to hydraulic equipment, a servo-electric panel bender requires much less routine maintenance. Operators mainly need to regularly check lubrication, guide rails, ball screws, electrical connections, and safety devices.
