Different materials usually require different assist gases. For example, if you need to cut stainless steel, we recommend using nitrogen. This can prevent oxidation on the cutting surface. If you need to cut carbon steel, we recommend using oxygen. In addition, compressed air can also be used as an assist gas in some thin sheet processing applications. Protective lenses are affected by the processing environment, gas quality, and materials.  If the cutting quality drops significantly, or if there are visible burn marks on the lens surface, you need to replace the lens immediately.

Compared with plasma cutting machines, fiber laser cutting machines usually have a higher initial purchase cost. However, in long-term use, fiber laser cutting machines have more obvious advantages in energy consumption, material utilization, cutting precision, maintenance cost, and operation convenience. Therefore, they can help you achieve a higher return on investment more quickly, and the overall operating cost is also lower.

In addition, the price of a 3kW laser cutting machine is also affected by machine configuration, working area, automation level, laser source brand, and whether the machine is equipped with an automatic loading and unloading system. After the machine configuration is confirmed, the sales team will provide a quotation.

It is not recommended. Laser cutting machines with a power of 3kW or above usually require a three-phase 380V (±10%), 50/60Hz power supply. A single-phase power supply cannot provide stable power output. Insufficient power supply may cause machine alarms or unstable cutting performance. If your workshop only has a single-phase power supply, we recommend installing a transformer or stabilizer in advance.
